SAGE Publishers and the Editorial Board of Progress in Human Geography are pleased to announce GeObits, a new online initiative within the field of geographical scholarship and publishing. GeObits is an electronic-only supplement to Progress in Human Geography, designed to provide an opportunity to record, in biographical commemoration, the life, works and scholarly achievements of geographers, now deceased, who have contributed in a variety of ways to the promotion of geography, notably human geography, as a subject.
